vision of hope prior to the despair

This morning we were singing a song at church that really moved me:

Oh for a thousand tongues to sing my great Redeemer's praise, the honors of His name
Awake my soul and celebrate the wonders of his grace, let heaven and earth join in the song

Have you ever seen those cheesy movies where two people run from opposite ends of a field and meet in the middle, hug, and just spin in a circle holding hands laughing? I had that vision in my mind today while worshipping to that song - Jesus and I holding hands, spinning around in a field, smiling and laughing, me telling Him how much I love him and thank Him for what He did, and Him just telling me that HE loved me and was glad that I made it. As the song continued and we kept spinning, angels began to surround us, with joy on thier faces.

that is the day that I long for.
